About half a year after I started climbing when I had only climbed one V5 in the gym, I started working the beta on a V5 outside in Tahoe. After one day I had made all the moves but was too tired to make it past the crux. It took me about three months to get back there and I sent the problem on my second attempt. It was great to get it after waiting so long.

This summer (2014) I participated in a couple of outdoor bouldering competitions and despite being injured, I took second place in my division (V0-V4) for one of them.

Why you love to climb and what Zero Gravity means to you:
-
I love to climb because you really have to try hard and push yourself to succeed in climbing. A lot of the time you can become so focused on a climb that you completely forget to breathe while your climbing.
-
I like being on Zero Gravity because it makes me want to climb more and helps me to push myself harder than I could on my own.
Favorite place to climb/travel:
