Annie O'Brien

Bio:

Age: 16

Primary Gym: Berkeley Ironworks

Started Climbing in: 2008

Joined Zero Gravity in: 2013

Memorable Achievements:

  • I learned to ride a unicycle when I was ten, but if we're talking about climbing I went to Nationals last year and will again this year for bouldering.

Why do you love to climb and what Zero Gravity means to you:

  • I love to climb primarily because of the community involved in climbing. Everyone is ridiculously nice and fun and supportive. On a coincidentally similar note, I like Zero Gravity for the same reason. It is really rewarding and everyone there is fun to be around.

Favorite place to climb/travel:

  • My favorite places to climb are the trees outside my front yard and Berkeley Ironworks. I have a triple digit amount of memories from both places.
